This week was my friend’s birthday so I thought I would make a birthday card using the Hopscotch papers by Kaisercraft.

Card made with Hopscotch papers by Kaisercraft

First I used brown A4 card for the base card, I’ve then used the Marvellous paper as the background paper.   The banner flags were cut from the small examples of the papers on the packaging from the Hopscotch scrapbook kit.

This saved me having to cut up the papers themselves for such a small embellishment.  I could have used the bunting sticker that is included with the Hopscotch kit but I decided to save that for another time.  Corrugated card was used underneath each flag to give the banner some extra dimension.

I hand cut some flowers from the Unreal paper and attached them to the front using silicone glue.  I’ve used a label and the lettering from the sticker sheet to create the sentiment, I used foam pads to give it a bit of lift to make it stand out.  I finished off the card by adding gems to the corners, sentiment and to highlight the middle of the flowers.

Have you ever used the packaging from a craft product on a card or scrapbook page?  If so I’d love to hear from you, leave a comment with a link to your card or tag me on Instagram @GorgeousCrafts

Happy Crafting!
